Hey there! Welcome to the Dairy Star Ice Cream! Let us tell you a little bit about ourselves.

We began 38 years ago when our founders turned a Dairy Queen into a family-owned ice cream shop in the Chicagoland area. In recent years we have been featured in several articles, including being named by Buzzfeed as the “#1 Soft Serve place in Illinois.” There’s also an awesome piece by Chicago’s Finest about us—be sure to check it out! Dipped cones are the best at Dairy Star in Lincolnwood. Cherry-dipped with vanilla ice cream...can't beat it. Seating outside only, this place hits the spot on summer evenings.
