I gave Arturo of Arturo's mobile mechanic over $3000 to do some repairs to my truck. I paid him to replace my radiator and hoses and coolant, to put in a brand new AC condenser and line and freon, replace my driver side door, replace my power steering pump and hose, do a tune-up, change my oil, do a transmission rebuild, and give me an estimate on how much it would be to fix my horn and door seals. After he ran diagnostics, he told me these were the things needed to get it back in good running condition. Said it would be like a new truck when I got it back. He quoted me a price of $2,098, that increased to over $3,000 when adding the horn install. He never gave me status updates as promised, did not return my calls/texts for days, and did not do the repairs as promised. The first day I got it back it was running rough and things that worked before (seat controls, etc) no longer did. He left greasy handprints all over my seats, steering wheel, and doors after telling me he would detail and clean it for having it longer than promised. Also it was leaking, which he told me was condensation from the AC. Turns out the radiator was still leaking. Then he asked for my original invoice back and gave me a new one reflecting lesser repairs at higher costs. He said he repaired the radiator instead of replacing it, and tacked on the difference to the transmission rebuild. He did the same thing with the door. Instead of a replacement door, I got an alignment and he tied it up. Then tacked on the difference to the transmission rebuild. The AC stopped working the second time I used, was blowing hot, and the radiator continued to leak causing the truck to overheat almost immediately after getting it back. I called him the day he brought it back and told him this isn't right and the repairs were under warranty. He called me back later and said he would come back out and take a look at it. Four appts later he still hadn't shown up and stopped answering my calls and texts. He failed to respond to a BBB complaint and then deleted one of his pages on FB when I, and a couple others, left him a bad review for similar incidents. Now my truck is sitting in my parking lot, useless, and he will not return calls, texts, emails, or show up to correct it. I did not get what I was promised or what I paid over $3,000 for. Now I am in the process of taking him to court to try and get my money back. I made it very clear to him that I was a single mom with no other means of support but income and it was very important that this would be all it would take to make it dependable (otherwise I would've bought another vehicle). He assured me it would be like new, saying I could go anywhere I wanted and not worry. Yet, I didn't even make it to the grocery store. And now I am stuck with a piece of junk that won't move, and out over $3,000. Please, avoid this guy so this doesn't happen to you. I am not the only one he's done this to.
