In the city of Detroit, Michigan, General Motors is manufacturing one of the most famous cars in history, and in Springfield, Missouri, Paul Mueller Company is manufacturing a true icon of its own. Like the ’55 Chevy, the Mueller milk cooler has stood the test of time. True American craftsmen forged these coolers from raw goods and stamped them with the name MUELLER — a name that would soon have more significance than these workers would ever imagine. Their true-grit work ethic and diligent attention to detail produced a product that simply would not fail. In doing so, these original Mueller masters of metal established a reputation that thousands of dairy farmers still rely on to this day.
