Aladdin has the best gyros I've found in San Diego, as well as falafel and other standard Mediterranean dishes. The service is efficient but not terribly friendly, and the prices are a little steep, but the ambiance is nice.

I eat at this restaurant quite often. It's actually called Aladdin Mediterranean Cafe. Their Mediterranean salad is REALLY good. I enjoy their brick oven pizzas, their gyro plates and sandwiches. Everything is fresh and made to order.
