My name is Michael J. Vitale. I received my Juris Doctorate degree from Pepperdine University School of Law and have more than 40 years of experience working in the legal profession.
My initial experience in the legal field involved commercial collection and general civil litigation;
I then spent a little more than 10 years in group legal services field gaining experience in general consumer law, landlord/tenant and family law;
That was followed by spending more than a decade working with attorneys Robert Tafoya, George R. Horrigan and Nieves Rubio with a focus on family law;
After working in the private sector, I spent 8 years working for the Kern County Superior Court in the Family Law Facilitator's office where I was involved in furthering the court's accessibility for self-help litigants.
Due to the vast number of court filings by people without attorneys, I decided to get my LDA bond and start this business to focus on the quality of service at a fair price. I am bonded and registered as a Legal Document Assistant in Kern County. As such, I am not an attorney, I can only provide self-help services at your direction. My registration number is 171 and my registration expires 10/09/2021.
