Google Updates and What They Mean For Your Business

Google announced late in August that it was rolling out another set of algorithim updates to enhance the quality of search results. One of the most signifcant changes deals with the distinction between what Google is calling "Helpful Content," and "Unhelpful Content."

Does your content feature original information, informed by original research? Does your content contain grammatical issues? These are among several questions that Google is urging website builders to ask themselves when developing content. If websites feature a glut of poorly composed, deriviative copy, or "keyword stuffing," Google may very well identify this content as being unhelpful.

Visit this page to learn more about Google's criteria, and consider updating your blog and website accordingly.
