Buy parts there, never use for repairs

This shop is a great parts shop. They are terrible as a repair shop. Years ago when he was just a repair guy he was good (although, was not always completely honest and my gear would be scratched up when I got it back). But after joining the repair shop to the parts shop, he stopped repairing my gear and just collected them, never to be seen again. I regularly stopped in to ask about the various items, I'd call... I was given countless excuses and lies. I can not more strongly urge you to never leave anything there for repair.
